I've been the ADDY® Chair for the American Advertising Federation Greater Flint (AAF-GF) chapter since 2011, as part of the AAF-GF board of directors. The ADDY® Awards represents the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from the Flint area. For roughly six months of the year, I lead the ADDY® committee in monthly planning meetings. Decisions need to be made about awards ceremony location, caterer, judges, and judging location. A great deal of time is spent on writing and editing the call for entry, invitation, and awards ceremony program as well as managing the details of a multi-faceted event. The evening of the awards ceremony is during the month of February and is a night to enjoy as all the winners are honored with their Gold and Silver awards.

I joined the Northeastern Michigan Tennis Association board of directors in 2011 as the Web Coordinator. I'll be working closely with the board members to overhaul their current website to be an organized and informative site. I'm looking forward to completing the project during 2012.
